Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda is founded by Business Park Aviolanda and companies operating in the unmanned sector.

During the years a number of companies found their location and settled themselves at Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda facility which provides offices, meeting- and training rooms.

Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda (DDCA) is a foundation which consists of a board of directors and a supervisory board.

RPAS Services

RPAS Services was founded in 2015 providing services to different market segments using unmanned aircraft technology.

RPAS Services has EASA licensed pilots, trained observers / payload operators and utilizes registered aircrafts and when required with partner operators.

RPAS Services also holds a TED (Test Experimental and Demonstration) approval for executing TED operations with new or experimental platforms and flying BVLOS operations in controlled airspace.

RPAS Services is registered per July 7, 2017 by CAA-NL and registered in the Specific Category, Operational Authorisation Number: NLD-OAT-049/03G.

uAvionix Europe

uAvionix Inc was founded in 2015 with the mission of bringing safety solutions to the unmanned aviation industry in order to aid in the integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System (NAS). 

A fundamental principle of that mission is to provide solutions that allow all airspace users a common situational awareness of the airspace. Through the evolution of uAvionix Inc, we pioneered and now offer low SWaP TSO certified and uncertified Mode A/C/S/5 IFF/ADS-B and GPS solutions for General Aviation (GA), Airport Surface Vehicles and the UAS/UAM markets.

In 2017 uAvionix Europe was founded and is operating under Mu Aviation BV. uAvionix Europe represents uAvionix Inc in Europe and is supporting its European customers, resellers and is working with member states aviation authorities, EASA, Eurocontrol and aviation associations to develop the European legislation in respect to unmanned aviation and the integration of crewed and uncrewed aviation in national airspace. uAvionix Europe is also full member of EUROCAE and participating in various working groups such as WG105 (unmanned) and WG51 (ADS-B), and is member of NSUR (Network Surveillance User Group) headed by Eurocontrol.

uAvionix Europe also facilitates ground and airborne infrastructure and equipment for Detect and Avoid and provides cooperative and uncooperative airspace traffic for Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda test sites.

Orange Aerospace

Orange Aerospace creates prototypes and “one-off” aircraft, both manned and unmanned. The company does this with a team of specialists in engineering, production, electronics and operations from its headquarters at Breda International Airport. 

Orange Operations, member of the Orange Aerospace group, is specialized in TRL 1 - 6 (Technology Readiness Levels) experimental test flights. Thanks to its excellent testing facilities, Orange Operations has opened a branch office at the Dutch Drone Center Aviolanda.

Hive 3D Design Lab

Hive 3D Design Lab is situated in Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda.

At Hive Creative 3D Lab, we are dedicated to innovation, utilizing our state-of-the-art 3D printing, laser cutting and scanning technologies. Our passionate team is here to support professionals, enthusiasts, and businesses at Hive Aerospace Cluster while encouraging creativity and collaboration on small projects. We believe this synergy can connect employees and leaders in a dynamic and creative environment, fostering relationships and potentially uniting efforts for an amazing working environment.

NLR

NLR works in collaboration with Hive Aerospace Cluster on the Hangar of the Future.

 

Robin Radar Systems

Robin Radar Systems are experts and technology leaders in the detection of small flying objects. their radar systems give high-quality data, instant updates, and the best possible insight to react to threats and hazards as they happen.

With their Headquarters in The Hague, The Netherlands, Robin Radar Systems is based at Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda for testing, engineering and demonstrating their innovative radar technology and working with their partners to test integration of sub-systems such as counter drone measures.

Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda is facilitating the drone flights during the tests and demonstrations.
